Rider profile
Rob Saltmer #64
Club racer, podium regular, and on the road to the Isle of Man TT.

In my words
My name is Rob Saltmer, and I have been competing with the British Motorcycle Racing Club for several years, achieving consistent podium finishes and a best championship result of 5th so far.
The 2026 season was a particularly successful year for me. Racing a Kawasaki ZX-6RR, I achieved 9 podium finishes, including 2 race wins, and continued to build the experience and results needed to take the next step in my racing career.
My goal is to compete in the Isle of Man TT, and 2027 is an important year in working towards that ambition. I have now moved to a 2026 Aprilia RS 660 Supertwin, a bike that is better suited to the road racing environment and will allow me to develop the skills and experience required to progress towards the TT.
During 2027, I will be looking to build on my racing portfolio with a mixture of circuit and road racing, including Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Oliver's Mount, the Southern 100 and Donington Park.

What's next
A new bike, new roads
For 2027 the Kawasaki makes way for a 2026 Aprilia RS 660 Supertwin, and the calendar adds real roads: Oliver's Mount and the Southern 100. Then the Manx Grand Prix in 2028.
